Uganda Urban Gospel singer Mutalya Elvis aka Mac Elvis was on Friday laid to rest at his ancestral home in Mayuge district.
Thousands of relatives and friends Friday gathered at Watoto Church in Kampala to pay their last tribute to the singer.
MacElvis died on Friday 18 october after drowning in a swimming pool in Tanzania where he had gone with a group of other Ugandan Gospel musicians for a schools tour ministry.

Elvis will be remembered for songs like; Katikiya, Topowa Game, Oli Nange Alternative, First Priority, Love Him Now and many more.
Elvis was a born again Christian who put in his bid for royalty as an urban gospel prince with his 2011 release, “Church Boy”, an album full of mid-tempo jams and occasional club rockers.
