The embattled Chairman of Kiira Young Football Club, Jimmy Lukwago, has said his team is prepared to continue their winning ways when they face Entebbe Young in a FUFA Super League tie tomorrow at the Wankulukuku Stadium.
After their first win of the season last week against Masaka LC FC, Lukwago told sources on Monday afternoon that his players are fit and rearing to go and improve on their table standing.
Lukwago said after the two coaches George Ssemogerere and assistant James Magala refused to sign agreements with the club last week, the club is looking for a new coach.
He said Cranes defender Richard Kasagga and some senior players are now in charge of picking the team.
Victory for 10th-placed Kiira Young will push them close to the top five teams, while Entebbe, who are yet to test victory in the league, must be at their best to move from 12th place.
Lawrence Nduga and Brian Nkubi, who scored in the win over Masaka LC FC last week, are expected to start the game.
Entebbe FC’s new coach James Odoch will also hope that his veteran striker Yusuf Kinene and Siraj Ssentamu push the team to their first win of the season.
