Former SC Villa midfielder Stephen Bengo made his debut for Kampala City Capital Authority FC on Tuesday.
The 25-year-old joined the KCCA FC commonly known as the kasasiro boys just before the transfer window deadline, signing a two-year contract with the club had last week played against SC Victoria University in the Uganda Super Cup at Nakivubo.
He made his debut and was replaced by pacy midfielder Mike Birungi in the 64th minute during the 1-all draw against his former club SC Villa and Coach George Nsimbe says he was pleased with their new signing.
“Bengo was with us for just a few days and I’m happy with him, I think we made a very good signing because his did his part according to the game plan,” KCCA coach George Nsimbe said after the match.
“He is a talented and intelligent player and I’m sure we’ll see a lot from him when he gels with the squad.”
The former Cranes player has previously played for Jogoo Young, URA, SC Villa and Yanga Africans in Tanzania were his contract was terminated due to non-commitment.
