This Morning, Retired Colonel Kiiza Besigye beat security surveillance around his house Kasangati to enter the city centre and as you read this, the former FDC president is currently holed up in the Workers House that has been cordoned off by Police.
However, Besigye who was said to be on his way to Crane Bank along Kampala road was followed by Police and briefly blocked along Watoto Church junction.
Besigye who was denied access to Crane Bank found his way to Workers House where he is said to be meeting his lawyers of Mpanga and Company Advocates.
This is the second time Besigye is involved in running battles with the police this week.
On Tuesday afternoon he was arrested by police and briefly detained at Kira Division police station in Kira town council, near the capital Kampala before being released.
This comes as City traders under their umbrella body Kampala City Traders Association (KACITA) are currently on strike against the Pre-Import/Export verification scheme that they now say will go on till Monday next week.
