The Angolan national team has rejected the hotel which had been booked for them by the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA).
The Palancas Negras or Black Antelopes, who face Uganda Cranes in a 2014 World Cup qualifier at Mandela National Stadium on Saturday, had been booked at Mount Zion Hotel in the city centre.
Decolas Kiiza, a member of FUFA who received the team at Entebbe International Airport on Thursday night, said Angola rejected the Hotel and decided to top up and reside at the five-star Sheraton Hotel.
The Liberian national team resided at the Zion Hotel and only left on Wednesday, four days after losing to Cranes 1-0 last Saturday.
The Angola FA Vice President Osvaldo Oliveira told Uganda Radio Network that they are in Uganda to collect three points. The team which lost 3-0 to Uganda in 2011 is expected to have a test of the Stadium this Friday afternoon.
Angola are on four points behind second placed Uganda on five, while leaders Senegal have six points.
Some of the key players who made the trip include; Amandio Filipe da Coasta, Kandu Mavanga, Adwa Mokanga, Fabricio Mafuta, Hugo Miguel Marques and Guilherme Afonso who scored in their 1-1 draw with Senegal last weekend.
