Interdicted Kampala capital City Authority (KCCA) director of physical planning is set to resume his work after court acquitted him last month, the authority has said.
KCCA spokesperson, Peter kaujju, yesterday told Red pepper that George Agaba will be reinstated after the murder charges he was facing together with his bodyguard, Santos Komakech makmot, were dropped.
The charges were dropped last month by Nakawa high court Judge, Faith Mwondha. “Agaba was interdicted to pave way for investigations into the Luzira shooting but now that they are over and he has been cleared, he is expected to resume his duties as director of physical planning,” said Kaujju.
Agaba was in January remanded to Luzira prison together with Makmot in connetion with the shooting to death of John Onyango, a resident of Port bell in Luzira during an eviction exercise.
