Ugandan musician Jose Chameleon has stood up to congratulate Goodbye boys Radio and Weasel for being good students after they were nominated for the prestigious BET Awards to be held 30th June at Los Angels Nokia Theater, US.
Chameleon, who posted on his Facebook wall Wednesday morning, said “The triumph of a son is the Pride of a father,”
“On that note, I join the rest of the music fraternity to Congratulate Radio & Weasel on their BET nomination. You learnt from the best and you learnt well. I pray you win it for Uganda. Good luck.” he added.
The ‘Bayuda’ star laid the musical foundation for Radio and Weasel at a time when they were both under Leone Island before they quit to form Goodlyfe crew.
Goodlyfe will battle it out in the ‘International Act; Africa’ category with 2Face Idibia from Nigeria, Ice price also from Nigeria,Toya Delazy and Donald from south Africa for the BET awards.
This is the first time in the history of Uganda that artistes are being nominated for BET, one of the most recognized awards in the world.
