Tournament favourites Kenya stand in Uganda’s way as the two teams prepare to face off today in the final game of the 2013 ICC Africa T20 World Cup qualifiers. On Wednesday Uganda brushed aside Tanzania by 40 runs after setting 125runs, while Tanzania chased and stopped at 85 runs in the morning game. Kenya were also winners over Botswana in the morning match. The Kenya team bats first and put on 160 runs, while Botswana collapsed at 112. The afternoon games saw Uganda and Tanzania also winning against Botswana and Nigeria respectively. Davis Arinaitwe Karashani, Uganda’s captain told Uganda Radio Network on phone this afternoon that although they have won all the games so far, facing Kenya tomorrow will be the climax. The best two teams after the climax of the event will qualify for the next round of the T20 World Cup qualifiers in Dubai.
