Over 16 people have been injured critically in a fatal accident involving a coach belonging to Bakulu Bus Company.

The accident occurred this morning at Pageri Trading center; about 40 kilometers from the Nimule border post.

The Kampala bound bus registration number UAQ 409D reportedly overturned several times when the driver attempted to dodge an Ipsum vehicle registration number EE546D at a junction.

Three of the injured have been identified as Billy Keuber, a resident of Nebbi district, Edward Mubiru, from Kampala and Grace Wandua, a Kenyan national from Eldoret.

Okema said they were working hand in hand with their counterparts in South Sudan to establish the cause of the accident adding that, the Ugandan victims would be moved to Kampala for treatment. Early this year, two people were killed in an accident involving a bus from the same company along the Gulu-Nimule road.
