Uganda, Rwanda To Face-Off Tomorrow In CHAN 2018 Qualifiers

The Amavubi stars landed at Entebbe international airport at 10:35 on Thursday aboard Rwanda Air WB -434 ahead of a clash against the Uganda cranes this weekend

The contingent of 25 people that came had 19 players and six officials. At the arrival, head coach Antoine Hey said that is here to pick a win and that if a draw comes he will also welcome it as he prepares to finish the business when he hosts Uganda in Kigali.

Uganda will battle Rwanda this Saturday at St. Mary’s stadium in the first leg of the Championship of African Nations (CHAN) qualifier.

A week later, the two sides will meet in Rwanda for the return leg to determine which side advances to the final tournament slated for next year in Kenya.

The team is accommodated at Imperial resort beach hotel in Entebbe and conducts its training at Kisubi Technical playground.

Midfielders: Imran Nshimiyimana (APR), Djihad Bizimana (APR), Yanick Mukunzi (APR) and Oliver Niyonzima (Rayon Sports).
