Sofapaka’s  head coach, former Uganda Cranes assistant Sam Timbe has officially unveiled a 26 man  squad that  will do duty for the club  ahead of the grueling new season as he aims at reclaiming the Kenya league title the club last won in 2009.

The squad list which was posted on the club’s website is a blend of youth and experience with Ugandan midfielder Johnson Bagoole standing high in the squad.

And following the departure of long term skipper James Situma to AFC Leopards, veteran custodian Duncan Ochieng is set to captain the side in the new season with the lanky center half Felly Mulumba deputizing him.

Goalkeepers: Duncan Ochieng (c), David Okello, Barnabas Tiema.

Defenders:Felly Mulumba (Asst. Capt), Haevenar Maloba, Thomas Wanyama, Collins Shivachi, Yusuf Juma, Eugene Asike, George Owino, John Njoroge.

Midfielder: Humphrey Mieno, Johnson Bagoole, Anthony Ndolo, Elli Asieche, Patrick Kagogo, Celestin Habonimana, Danson Kago, Cliffton Miheso, Anthony Kimani, Maurice Odipo.

Forwards: Abdoul Razak Fiston, John Baraza, Juma Noor, Kasolo Mustafa, Enock Agwanda
