Sheikh Kamoga, 3 Others Sentenced To Life Imprisonment

Sheikh Yunus Kamoga and three others who were yesterday convicted of terrorism charges have today been sentenced to life imprisonment.
A panel of three justices led by Ezekiel Muhanguzi of the International Crimes court Division of the High Court, found six Sheikhs; Mohamed Yunus Kamoga, Siraje Kawooya, Murta Mudde Bukenya, Fahad Kalungi, Kakande Yusufu alias Abdallah and Sekayaja Abdulsalam alias Kassim Mulumba, guilty of terrorism related activities.
While passing their judgment today, the justices sentenced Sheikhs; Yunus Kamoga, Siraje Kawooya, Mudde Bukenya and Fahad Kalungi to life imprisonment while , Kakande Yusufu and Sekayaja Abdulsalam have been sentenced to 30 years in prison on claims that they were just followers.
It should be noted that court found out that they committed the terrorism crimes by printing fliers with the names of those targeted to be killed inscribed on them and distributed in mosques, holding meetings in their homes from where they planned the killings, sending of whatsapp messages with pictures of graves, coffins, bullets to their rival groups.
