Hassan Mawanda Wasswa of Uganda gets away from Brahim El Bahri of Morocco

The Uganda Cranes missed a glorious chance to book a quarter final place in the on-going Africa Nations Championship after a hard fought 3-1 defeat to Atlas Lions of Morocco in a Group B tie at the Cape Town Stadium this evening.
Abdessad Rafik, Lajour Mouhssine and Abdelkbir El Ouadi scored for the North Africans. Teenage sensation Yunus Sentamu was also on target for Uganda.
