D/AIP Aluma Charles told High court Judge Alfonse Owinyi Dollo that it was on the night of 11 July 2010 when he received 75 bodies from Lugogo and Kabalagala respectively, and 73 of them were claimed for by relatives except for the two heads that have remained in his custody till today.

Earlier, a Pathologist whose identity was concealed for protection from suspects, informed court that he examined the said torsos and found them to be of male adults whose cause of death was blast injuries, while the reason why the lower trunk is missing its because they were in direct contact with the explosives.

The Pathologist testified that he was also able to identify the origin of one of the heads to be from horn of Africa; Djibout, Ethiopia, Somalia or Eritria. Hearing of the case has however been adjourned for a full month to 22nd /September/2015, to allow the State enough time to secure more 35 witnesses most of whom including FBI officials are foreigners, and prosecution’s Lino Anguzu cites logistical and Diplomatic challenges of flying them in.
