Ugandan president Yoweri Museveni will on Thursday afternoon deliver an address on the state of the nation.
The president’s address will take place during the commencement of the 4th session of the country’s 9th parliament at Serena Hotel in the capital, Kampala.
The address is in line with clause 1 of Article 101 of the Ugandan Constitution that mandates him to deliver to Parliament an address on the State of the Nation, at the beginning of each Session of Parliament.
During the address, he is expected to outline government’s priorities over the next financial year.
