Kampala Parents Celebrates 40yrs of Academic Excellence

There is no doubt Kampala Parents school is a class above the ordinary when it comes to instilling discipline among the children.
While celebrating its 40 years of existence (1975-2015), the school founder, Hon. Kasole Lwanga Bwerere disclosed that many of their children have managed to excel in life because the school laid a good background basing on the key principals such as; punctuality, cleanliness, developing a reading culture amongst the children, making proper use of free time, being a good record keeper and being presentable among others.
Kasole also commended Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia for putting the school to incredibly international standards. “If Uganda is to get a well organized future generation, the education right from the pre-primary has to be revised and for that case, I thank Dr. Ruparelia for promoting this school which we are all proud of,” Kasole said.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda whose children are also former pupils of the school commended the school founders for preparing the leaders, bankers, fathers and mothers of tomorrow.
“Dr. Ruparelia has not let us down; he has enabled the school to have a conducive learning environment which has always made the children’s’ performance rise high so please, keep it up,” Rugunda said.
During the celebration, old children also launched their reunion, exhibited some of their business, and also enjoyed a number of activities which included; Blind race, Sack race, spoon and egg race, treasure hunt, net ball and tag of war football among others. (All photos by Stuart Yiga)
