Inside Tycoon Ssemwanga’s Shs6bn Mansion
Like they say, “the day a monkey is destined to die, all tree branches become slippery”, the South Africa based Sangoma Ivan Ssemwanga seems to have headed for the worst as effects of bad economy continue to bite.
With reports making rounds in the media that Ssemwanga the former hubby to socialite Hassan Zari is admitted at a South African hospital, his landlord at his Munyonyo mansion seems not to give him breathing space.
Hardly a week after his multimillion rented mansion was put on sale, the landlord through Ram Properties Uganda on Monday re-advertised the house. Ssemwanga has been in South Africa of late.
This house was put on sale last year in July by the owner at $1.5M. Ssemwanga has reportedly defaulted on rent and other bills. Recently, officials from National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) raided the alleged house over water theft.
In the latest advert, Ram Properties Uganda is calling upon potential buyers who are willing to part with a whopping $1.7m (about Shs6bn). But what is so special about this Shs6bn mansion that has been on sale since last year and there is no buyer yet?
Reliable information has it that this mansion that sits on a huge chunk of land contains 6 huge self-contained bedrooms, living room, Gym bar terrace and swimming pool.
