Finance Minister, Maria Kiwanuka has this morning announced the appointment of Doris Akol as Uganda Revenue Authority’s Commissioner General.
Doris Akol, who hitherto served as the commissioner for legal and board affairs takes over from Allen Kagina who is retiring after 22 years of service at the helm of the tax body.
Akol is the winner of the 2008 ralph Bell Prize, awarded to the best Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) finalist who has completed their chosen syllabus and sits more than one paper in that intake.
